"Through Force": US Prepares to Present Trump's Peace Plan for Ukraine

US Presidential Envoy Keith Kellogg is set to present Trump's peace plan to end the fighting in Ukraine to allies at the Munich Security Conference on February 14.

Bloomberg reports this, citing sources familiar with the situation.

Trump's plan will be based on the principle of "peace through strength," Bloomberg writes.

It will include freezing the conflict and providing Ukraine with security guarantees. The territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia will remain "in limbo."

The sources declined to specify what format Kellogg plans to hold the discussions in or how detailed they will be.

Bloomberg sources reported that Keith Kellogg will visit Ukraine for the first time in February and meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky.

He also plans to visit the countries of the European Union. At the same time, sources of the Suspilne TV channel in the office of the President of Ukraine claim that Kellogg's visit to Kiev is planned for February 20.

During the election campaign, Donald Trump promised to end the conflict in Ukraine “within 24 hours.”

The Financial Times newspaper noted that closer to the inauguration date on January 20, Trump had already stated that he hoped to be elected within six months.

Russia is ready to begin negotiations with the new US administration on ending the war in Ukraine "in a tough bargaining mode," but based on the principles of "mutual respect and equality," said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

"We are open to dialogue, ready to negotiate in a tough bargaining mode, taking into account the realities "on the ground" and our national interests, predetermined by history and geography. So the decisions and choice are up to Trump and his team," Ryabkov said .
